The latest version of Pokemon Scarlet, as of my last update, is part of the ninth generation of the Pokemon series. It launched alongside Pokemon Violet in November 2022. Both games introduced an open-world experience to the franchise, set in the vast region of Paldea, inspired by the Iberian Peninsula.
