In Stardew Valley, cows feast on fresh grass during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Don't forget, cows love that hay in winter or when they can't go outside! Get it from Marnie’s shop or cut some grass.

Hay is the way to go, especially in winter. But honestly, grass is cheaper and they love it more. Make sure your silo is stocked!
