Honestly, thought it was just about dodging trains and collecting coins but turns out, it has a deeper backstory. Inspired by one of the creator's own experiences of tagging a train and bookin' it from the scene. Life imitates art, or in this case, games!

Believe it or not, the inspiration for Subway Surfers actually came from a real-life incident! One of the creators had a childhood memory of vandalizing a train with graffiti and then running away to escape getting caught. They thought it would make a thrilling base for a game, combining the adrenaline of the escape with the vibrant art of street graffiti. Pretty cool, right?

Not everything has a deep story, guys. It's just a game about running away from a cranky inspector cause you were doodling on the subway. Sure, one of the creators got caught doing graffiti when they were younger, but let's not make it sound like a Hollywood movie plot.
