If we're talking rarities, don't forget the 1999 First Edition Shadowless Holographic Charizard. While not as rare as the Pikachu Illustrator, it's still hugely sought after and can fetch a pretty penny, especially in mint condition.

The rarest Pokemon card of all time is the Pikachu Illustrator. Given only to winners of a 1998 art contest hosted by CoroCoro Comic, there are only about 39 of these cards known to exist. So yeah, if you've got one, you're sitting on a goldmine!
