What’s the Difference Between Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet?

The main differences between Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet are the Legendary Pokémon and some exclusive Pokémon and professors. In Scarlet, you get Koraidon as your Legendary, while in Violet, it's Miraidon. Each game has its own set of Pokémon that you can't catch in the other version. For example, Larvitar and Stonjourner are exclusive to Scarlet, and Bagon and Eiscue are exclusive to Violet. Also, the professors are different: Professor Sada is in Scarlet and Professor Turo in Violet. So, your choice might come down to which Legendary Pokémon you prefer or which exclusive Pokémon you wanna catch!

Honestly, the differences aren't massive outside of some exclusive Pokémon and your Legendary buddy. Pick the one with the cooler cover or the Legendary you like more. It's all about the vibes!

As someone who's played both, trust me, it boils down to exclusives. Each version has Pokémon the other doesn't. I went with Violet for Miraidon, but it's really about which exclusives you're after. The story and gameplay feel the same, just with different Pokémon popping up.
