You can start trading in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet after you earn the first Gym Badge. It's pretty early on in the game, so you won't have to wait long to start swapping Pokémon with your friends or other trainers around the globe!

Just a heads up, you'll need to progress a little bit into the game. Trading is available after your first Gym Badge victory. It's a cool way to connect and trade Pokémon globally or with friends.
