Honestly, it's not that huge a deal. It's just in Spring 2023. You can catch plenty of cool Pokemon in Scarlet without needing transfers.

Can confirm! As someone who's got a collection spanning back to the good ol' days of Game Boy, the Spring 2023 update for Pokemon Home to sync with Scarlet and Violet is a dream come true. Can't wait to bring my all-stars team to the Paldea region.
