CS:GO keeps its config file tucked away, but not too far out of reach! Look for it in your Steam user data folder. Just navigate to the Steam folder, then userdata, your Steam ID, followed by 730 for CS:GO, and voila, local/cfg is your treasure chest.

Typically, you can find the CS:GO config file in the userdata folder within the Steam directory. For most people, this path would look something like: C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\<Your Steam ID>\730\local\cfg. If you’ve got a custom installation of Steam, replace 'C:\Program Files\Steam' with wherever you've got Steam installed.

Actually, who even needs to navigate folders? Just type “exec config.cfg” in your CS:GO console and the game does the rest. Easy peasy.
