Short answer: Mouse and keyboard > controller for CSGO. Valve likely figured it wasn't worth the effort to keep updating the console versions when most of the player base prefers PC.

Honestly, CSGO is all about quick reflexes and precise shots, something that's a bit tough to manage on a console controller. Plus, the PC community for CSGO is massive, so Valve probably just focuses on where the biggest player base is.

CSGO was actually released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in the day, but it didn't get updates like the PC version. The main reason it's not on modern consoles is because of the game's high skill ceiling and precision required for aiming, which is better suited to a mouse and keyboard. Consoles, with their gamepads, just can't offer the same level of accuracy and speed that CSGO's gameplay demands.
