Why is my CS:GO FPS so low?

First off, check your computer specs â CS:GO might be getting old but it still demands a bit of horsepower, especially if you're aiming for high FPS. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date too, outdated drivers can really drag your FPS down. Another thing, check your in-game settings. Dropping some settings like shadows and effects can give you a significant FPS boost without making the game look too bad. Lastly, keep an eye on background apps; you'd be surprised how much juice stuff like browsers and Discord can suck up!

Lower your resolution, trust me. Playing on a lower resolution might make the game look a bit potato, but your FPS will skyrocket. Sometimes, you gotta sacrifice looks for performance!

Is your PC a toaster? JK, but seriously, if you've tried everything and your FPS is still in the gutter, it might be time to upgrade your hardware. CS:GO isn't the most demanding game, but it still needs decent components to run smoothly.
