The PS4 Pro doesn't support PS3 games directly. You’ll need a PS Now subscription to stream some of those classics.

Nope, PS3 discs don’t work on the PS4 Pro. You can, however, enjoy select PS3 titles through PlayStation Now!

Trust me, I tried with my favorite PS3 game, and nope, it didn't work. Had to go with PS Now to relive the nostalgia.
