Absolutely, you can! Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows up to 8 players to live on the same island within the same game on a single Nintendo Switch. However, only up to 4 players can play together at the same time on the same system in local co-op mode. It's super fun cause you get to hang out with your friends or family right in your own little virtual paradise!

Yep, but it's a bit of a party. Just remember, while you can all live on the same island, only one person can be the 'Island Representative'. This special role goes to the first player who starts the game, and they get a bit more control over the island's progression.

Nah, not really a fan of the shared play. Feels like you're always waiting for your turn rather than playing together. Plus, there's the whole thing about one person being in charge which can be a bummer.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
