Yes, the original 60GB and 20GB models of the PS3 have backward compatibility for PS2 and PS1 games. Check the model number to be sure!

Most PS3 models can play PS1 games, but only some early models can play PS2 games. So, it really depends on which PS3 you have.

Not all PS3s can run PS2 games. Make sure you have one of the earlier models (CECHCxx or CECHExx) if that's your goal. PS1 games should work on all of them, though.

I have an old 60GB PS3, and it plays both PS2 and PS1 games just fine. Newer models, not so much for PS2 games.

Quick tip: If you want PS2 game compatibility on a PS3, go for the fat models released before 2008. Happy gaming!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
