Unfortunately, no. PS5 doesn’t support physical PS3 discs. You can stream some PS3 titles through PlayStation Now, though.

I tried popping my PS3 disc into my PS5. No dice. Streaming it through PlayStation Now worked like a charm!

Nope, PS5 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 discs. Stream those PS3 classics via PlayStation Now instead.
