I've tried, but PSN doesn't allow changing regions once an account is created. Best bet is to make a new one.

I had this issue too. Ended up making a new account for the region I wanted. It's the only way.

You can't change the region on your existing PSN account. Instead, you'll need to create a new account with the desired region.
