Absolutely! The Steam Deck runs on a version of SteamOS, which is basically Linux, but it's fully capable of playing Windows games through Proton, a compatibility layer that Steam has developed. Since Call of Duty is available on Steam, you should technically be able to play it on your Steam Deck. Just make sure the game's compatibility with Proton is good, since some games run better than others.

Short answer: Yes, but it depends. Not every CoD game might run perfectly because of Proton's compatibility quirks. So, check ProtonDB for the specific Call of Duty game you wanna play on your Deck.

Nah, get a PC. The Deck is cool, but it's not cut out for high-end games like Call of Duty. Save yourself the hassle.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
