Nope, you can't directly play PS Vita games on a PS3. They're designed for different systems and aren't cross-compatible.

While you can't play PS Vita games on the PS3, some PS Vita games have PS3 versions you can play instead!

You also have the option to use Remote Play to stream your PS3 games to your PS Vita, but that doesn't work the other way around.
