I share my PSN account with my sibling, and it works fine. Just make sure you trust whoever you're sharing it with.
Yes, you can share your PSN account, but do it wisely! Set your account as primary on a friend's console, and they'll have access to your games. Just don’t forget that sharing your PSN credentials with too many people might get you into hot water with Sony.
