Can I text chat in Fallout 76?
Yeah, you can text chat in Fallout 76 but it's not built into the game by default. You gotta use mods if you're on PC. There's one called 'Text Chat' that a lot of players use. Just keep in mind, text chatting with mods is mostly a PC thing. Console players don't have this luxury, unfortunately.

Text chat? In Fallout 76? Yeah, with a mod. But honestly, voice chat adds to the immersion. Who has time to type when there' a Scorchbeast on your tail?
Actually, text chatting in Fallout 76 is kinda more trouble than it's worth. I tried it with a mod, and while it does work, it's clunky. Bethesda really needs to add an official feature.
No in-game text chat without mods. Bethesda didn't include it for some reason. PC players can get around it with mods, but console players are out of luck.
