Can I Use PS2 Games on PS3?
HouselingMoon路5 months agoSome PS3 models have backward compatibility for PS2 games, but it depends on the specific model you own. The early 'fat' models usually support PS2 games, while the later 'slim' and 'super slim' models do not.

Nope, unless you have the OG PS3 model with the backward compatibility feature. Most later models don't play PS2 games at all.
Yes, but only if you have one of the original 'fat' PS3 models with 4 USB ports. The slim and super slim versions don't support PS2 games.
I have a launch 'fat' PS3, and it works with my PS2 games just fine. But my friend's newer 'slim' PS3 doesn't. Check your model!
