Why can't I harvest plants in Fallout 76?
Sounds like you might be experiencing a bug or server lag. Try relogging or jumping to another server to see if that fixes your issue. Plants not being harvestable can sometimes be due to them being recently picked by another player in your server and they haven't respawned yet. Give it a bit of time and try again!

Make sure you're actually pressing the right button to harvest. You'd be surprised how many times it's just a case of button confusion. Happened to a friend of mine; he spent hours frustrated over Tato plants.
Just run around and punch some ghouls, come back later. Probably someone beat you to those juicy mutfruits. The world's a wasteland; survival of the fittest!
