Unfortunately, you can't play PS2 games on a PS1 console. It's a one-way street where the PS2 can play PS1 games, but not the other way around.

Impossible! PS1 doesn't have the hardware to support PS2 games.

Short and sweet: Nope, PS1 can't play PS2 games. You need a PS2 for that!

Nope! The original PlayStation (PS1) can't run PlayStation 2 (PS2) games. The PS2, on the other hand, has backward compatibility for PS1 games.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
