Yup, Steam can remove games from your library, but it's pretty rare. Usually, this happens if a game you bought gets pulled from the store for legal reasons or because the developers no longer have the rights to sell it. Steam tries to make sure you keep access to games you've bought, but in super rare cases, they might have to pull the plug.

Steam basically never removes games you've paid for unless they absolutely have to. So, while technically yes, it happens so rarely you'll probably never notice. It's like spotting a unicorn.

Nah, Steam won't just randomly take games away from your library. They're not in the business of snatching back what you've bought. If a game does disappear, it's usually for a very specific, legal reason, and even then, it's super rare. Sleep easy, your library's safe.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
