Nope, the PS3 Slim can't play PS2 games. Only the early models of the original PS3 had backward compatibility.

From my experience, the PS3 Slim doesn't support PS2 games. But you can always look into digital versions on the PlayStation Store.

Sadly, the PS3 Slim won't run your PS2 games natively. You're better off keeping a PS2 on hand for those classics.
