You can't directly gift games to friends on the PS5, but you can send them a PlayStation Store gift card so they can buy the game themselves!

I wish! The PS5 hasn't added that feature yet. Use a PlayStation Store gift card as a workaround.

You can't do it directly on the PS5. I've been sending digital gift cards to my friends, and it works just fine.
