Can you change the Resident Representative in Animal Crossing?
Sadly, no. Once you pick your Resident Representative, you're stuck with them. It's a bummer because if you started your island on a shared console and didn't pick first, you're not the Rep by default. Learned that the hard way.

Nope, you can't change the Resident Representative in Animal Crossing: New Horizons once you've set them. That character is pretty much the mayor of your little island, and the game locks that in from the start. If you're not happy with your choice, your only option is to restart your island from scratch. So, choose wisely!
