Nope, you can't directly download or use Steam on a Nintendo Switch. The Switch runs on its own operating system that's not compatible with Steam. However, some folks use workarounds like streaming Steam games from a PC to their Switch, but that's a hacky route and not officially supported by either Nintendo or Valve.

Steam doesn't officially support the Nintendo Switch, so you won't find a Steam app in the eShop. But, tech enthusiasts have found ways to stream Steam games to the Switch using homebrew methods. Just remember, tinkering with your device can void the warranty or potentially brick your Switch, so proceed with caution and at your own risk.

Forget it, Switch is for Nintendo games! If you want Steam, stick to PC or check out the Steam Deck.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
