Sadly, you can't directly gift games on the PlayStation Store. Instead, you can buy a PlayStation gift card and pass it along!

Unfortunately, PlayStation Store doesn't support game gifting like Steam. You gotta work around it with a gift card.

From personal experience, I just buy the game from my account, log into my friend's console, and download it. Not ideal, but it works!
