Nope, no traditional pets in ACNH. You kinda are the pet, considering all the errands you do for Tom Nook. :P

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can't have traditional pets like dogs or cats, since many villagers are animals themselves! However, you can collect critters like fish and insects, and display them in your home as if they were pets. Plus, there's a variety of decorative pet-related items to make your living spaces feel more homely!

Actually, having a pet in the traditional sense doesn't really fit the vibe of Animal Crossing. It's more about living harmoniously with the animal villagers. That said, you can sorta 'adopt' a bug or fish by keeping them in your house.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
