Nah, one island per Switch. Makes each island kinda special though, doesn't it?

Nope, you can't have multiple islands on a single Nintendo Switch console for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Each Switch system is limited to one island. If you wanna be the mayor of more than one island, you're gonna need more than one Switch. A bummer, I know, but it's all about that one unique island life per console.

Actually, while you can't technically have multiple islands on the same Switch, families do share the island. So, while it's one island per console, everyone with a profile on that Switch can live on the same island and have their own house. It's not multiple islands, but it does bring a different dynamic to the gameplay!

Short answer, no. Long answer, still no, but think of it as a chance to collaborate on a single island masterpiece with your friends or family!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
