Nope, you can't have pets in Animal Crossing like you do in real life. All the animals are your neighbors and friends, so it's more about building relationships than owning pets. But, you can catch bugs and fish, and display them in your home if that counts!

Nah, owning pets in Animal Crossing isn't a thing. Everyone's equal there, so no pet ownership. Just pals hanging out.

Short answer? No. Long answer? Still no, but you get to live with a bunch of animal buddies, which is kinda the same. Sorta.

Actually, in a way, yes and no. You can't own traditional pets like dogs or cats because they're your neighbors! However, you can have pet fish and insects that you catch. So, get your net and fishing rod ready!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
