I tried to jump in early myself, thinking maybe there's a way to play a bit of the Fallout 76 beta before it fully finished downloading, but no dice. The game needs a complete download due to its online nature. Once it's all set, though, exploring West Virginia post-apocalypse is totally worth the wait!

Nah, you gotta wait it out. Fallout 76, like most modern online games, requires a full download before you can start playing. That's because it's an online-only game, so all the elements need to be in place to ensure a smooth experience. Grab some snacks, it's gonna be a bit of a wait!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
