Actually, straight running it? Nope, Macs got left out in the cold, spell-less and sad. But if you're okay with wizard-level tinkering via Boot Camp or Parallels, you could get it working. Not simple, but hey, magic ain't easy.

Not straight out of the box, since Hogwarts Legacy was released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, mainly targeting Windows platforms. However, Mac users aren't completely out of luck! You can use Windows emulation software like Boot Camp (for Intel Macs) or virtual machine software like Parallels Desktop to run Windows on your Mac, and then install Hogwarts Legacy. It's a bit of a workaround, but for a magical adventure in the wizarding world, totally worth the effort!

Just buy a PC or a console. Seriously, why bother with all the technical gymnastics? Hogwarts Legacy is best enjoyed the way it's meant to be, without the hassle.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
