Just press the 'R' button on your Nintendo Switch to cast Protego in Hogwarts Legacy. It's your shield charm, so remember to use it when you're in a tight spot or facing off against some dark witches and wizards. Timing is key, so practice to get it just right!

To do Protego in Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch, hit the R button. It's all about timing though, so don't spam it thinking you'll be invincible. Timing your Protego right can turn the tide in duels.

Lol, just smash the 'R' all day. Okay, not really, but it feels like that sometimes. Seriously, R button for Protego. The real magic is learning when to use it.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
