Yes, you can play NBA Street Vol. 2 on a PS3, but only if you have an original model with backward compatibility for PS2 games. The newer models can't do it though.

I managed to play NBA Street Vol. 2 on my PS3, but make sure your console is one of the older backward-compatible versions. Some versions won't work.

Nope, you need one of the early PS3 models with PS2 backward compatibility. Most models won't run it.
