I tried it myself, and unfortunately, the PS4 controller doesn't work with PS5 games. But it works perfectly for PS4 games on the new console!

Nope, PS5 games need a DualSense controller. Sorry!

Sadly, the PS4 controller only works for PS4 games on the PS5, you'll need a DualSense for those sweet PS5 titles.

You can't use a PS4 controller to play PS5 games, but you can use it for playing backward-compatible PS4 games on the PS5.
