Nope, you can't just pop in an Xbox game directly into the Steam Deck and expect it to run. But, hope isn't lost! If you're clever with cloud gaming services or game streaming, there's a workaround.

Totally disagree with the naysayers - where there's a will, there's a way. Use Xbox Cloud Gaming to stream to your Steam Deck. Been doing it and it's a game-changer!

Heads up, gamer! While the Steam Deck is designed for you to enjoy your Steam library on-the-go, it's not directly compatible with Xbox games out of the box. BUT, don't put down your game controller in despair just yet! Thanks to the power of cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming (part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), you can stream Xbox games to your Steam Deck. Just make sure your Steam Deck's software is up to date and capable of accessing the internet browser or any compatible cloud gaming app, and you're good to go!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
