The PS3 supports USB storage devices for game saves and other data, but there's no slot for traditional memory cards.

Just use the built-in hard drive or a USB stick. Memory cards are so PS2 era!

Nope, the PS3 doesn't use traditional memory cards like the older consoles. Instead, you can save your games directly onto the internal hard drive or use an external USB storage device.
