Nope, you're kinda stuck with your island name in Animal Crossing once you've chosen it. So make sure you pick something you really like from the get-go! Think it through, or you might be left wishing for a name-change option that just doesn't exist. And remember, naming it something funny might seem like a great idea at first, but will you still love it after 100 hours of play?

Short answer: no. Once you name it, that鈥檚 it. Choose wisely!

Absolutely not, and it's a bummer. I named my island 'Hammock Paradise' thinking it was cool, but now I regret not going for something cooler. So, take it from someone who's been there: think hard about your island name!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
