Absolutely! The Steam Deck runs on a custom SteamOS based on Linux, but it gives you the freedom to install third-party software. You can install Discord directly on your Steam Deck using the Discover Software Center, or you could even switch to desktop mode and install it just like on a regular PC. Perfect for staying connected with your gamer friends while on the go!

Yes, but why bother? The real fun is in the Steam community and games. Discord is great and all, but the Steam Deck is all about that portable PC gaming life. Embrace it!

Totally can! I've done it myself. Just switch over to Desktop Mode, and it's like using a mini PC. Installed Discord no problem, and now I can chat with my buddies while grinding through my Steam backlog. Super handy!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
