Nah, keep it chill and play as intended. Time traveling kinda defeats the purpose of enjoying the game's real-time progression. Where's the fun in rushing?

Yep, you definitely can speed up time in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! It's called 'time traveling.' You just need to close the game, go to your Nintendo Switch system settings, and manually change the date or time. When you hop back into your game, voila, time has shifted! Just be careful, though, as it can mess with in-game events and your island's ecosystem.

Time travel is my go-to in ACNH! I've been doing it to catch specific bugs, fish, and even to get to events I missed. It's like having a time machine in your pocket. Just don't let your villagers catch you skipping; they start to notice if you're gone too long!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
