Nope, can't use a PS5 controller on a PS4 directly. They aren't natively compatible.

You can connect a PS5 (DualSense) controller to a PS4 Slim using a wired connection via Remote Play on a PC, but it's not a straightforward process. Stick with the DualShock 4 for simplicity.

Sorry, but PS5 controllers don't work with PS4 Slims. Just another reason to upgrade!
