While Nintendo generally has a strict policy about using their copyrighted material, including Animal Crossing's music, they've become a bit more lenient recently. You can use the music for non-commercial purposes, like in a personal video, but monetizing that video could get tricky. Always best to check Nintendo's latest content guidelines or even reach out for permission to be safe.

Hot take: just go for it and ask for forgiveness later. Lots of YouTubers use game music and don't get in trouble, but remember, it's a gamble.

Definitely a gray area, but from my experience, as long as your video adds commentary or educational value and isn't just about the music, you should be in the clear. Used a track in my Animal Crossing tour vid and it's still up!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
