Nope, you can't use just any webcam on the PS5. Sony recommends using their official PlayStation Camera or the HD Camera made specifically for the PS5.

Unfortunately, the PS5 does not support third-party webcams. Stick to Sony's HD Camera for the best experience.

Sony's HD Camera is your best bet for streaming and video chat on the PS5. Other webcams won't be recognized properly.

You can try plugging in a different webcam, but chances are it won't work. The PS5 is pretty particular about its peripherals.
