Totally! Jasmine rice might not be traditional, but it works fine for most Indian dishes. I've used it myself a bunch of times, and it's always turned out great.

I prefer using Basmati rice because it鈥檚 more authentic and has that distinctive long grain. But jasmine rice will do in a pinch!
