Indeed, PS2 did have online play, but it wasn't as seamless as modern consoles. You needed to use the network adapter for it, and not all games supported online features.

Yes, the PlayStation 2 had online capabilities! It required an Ethernet adapter for the original models and the Slim model had it built in. You could play games like SOCOM and Final Fantasy XI online.

PS2 had online capabilities, but it was a bit of a hassle to set up compared to today鈥檚 standards. Still, it was amazing at the time!
