Nope, PS3 didn't come with a party chat option. It was one of the reasons some people switched to Xbox 360 back then.

Unfortunately, no, the PS3 didn't have a native party chat feature. You had to rely on in-game chat or third-party services like Skype.

Not really, but some games had their own voice chat options. Still, it wasn't as seamless as today's consoles.

No party chat on PS3. You'd have to talk to friends through game-specific chat or use a phone. Good times, right?

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
