You absolutely need Nintendo Online if you're looking to get the full Animal Crossing experience. It's all about those island visits and multiplayer fun. Without it, you're basically living on a deserted island. Literally.

Honestly, got by fine without it. Animal Crossing's chill even solo.

Nah, you don't NEED Nintendo Online to enjoy Animal Crossing on your own. The game's chock-full of solo adventures, like catching bugs, fishing, and designing your dream island. But, if you wanna visit your pals' islands or have them come to yours, that's when Nintendo Online becomes your ticket to ride the friendship ferry.

Nintendo Online? More like Nintendo Optional. You'll miss some stuff but nothing major.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
