Nope, you don't need a PlayStation Network (PSN) subscription to enjoy Death Stranding offline. But, if you want to access the online features, like other players' structures and messages, a PS Plus subscription will be required.

You do need PS Plus if you want to experience the full online social elements, but it's still a great game without it!

No PSN for offline mode. PS Plus needed for online stuff.
