Nope, shotguns don't count as rifles in Fallout 76. They're classified under their own category and benefit from perks like Shotgunner instead of the rifle perks. So, if you're planning on making a shotgun build, make sure to invest in those shotgun-specific perks to max out your damage.

Shotguns are a whole different beast in Fallout 76! They're not considered rifles, so you'll need to focus on shotgun perks to boost your boomstick's performance. Trust me, nothing says 'get off my lawn' quite like a fully perked-up shotgun in the wasteland.

Actually, shotguns = rifles? That's a big nope. Shotguns in Fallout 76 have their own perks and buffs. You want to make those scatterguns shine? Stick to their specific perks!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
